Dolores “Dee” Sepsi (nee Pollack) was welcomed home by God on Monday, May 3rd, 2021 at age 82. She was greeted at the pearly gates by her husband, Bill; her parents, Mary & Michael; her in-laws, Frank Sepsi, Anna Sepsi Hriz & Michael Hriz; along with so many friends and family who have gone before her.
Dee was born on December 5th, 1938 in Mifflin, PA, and grew up in Aliquippa, PA. Her two sisters, Alberta Linsky (John) and Patricia Wynn (Curt) remember their sister as being thoughtful and kind. It was in Pennsylvania that she met her husband of 60 years, William Sepsi. Together, they moved to his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, later moving to Parma, Ohio, where they welcomed and raised three children: Diane Wolski (Tom), Frank Sepsi (Antoinette) and Denise Jennings (Bruce). Her children remember her as being a compassionate, selfless and loving Mother and Grandmother.
She has 8 grandchildren, T.J. (Michelle), Rachel (Ryan), Victoria (Chris), Stephanie (Kennedy), Matthew (Jenny), Bruce Jr. (Kelly), Danielle (Alex) and Colton (Bella); and 6 great-grandchildren, Ava, Grant, Holden, Pierce, Caden & Ezra, who adore her and will remember her each time they go on vacation or sing her famous “and many more” tag line of the happy birthday song. She had many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was a world traveler and believer in vacationing, visiting dozens of countries and always returning relaxed and deeply kissed by the sun. Her life is a testament to loving deeply, living in the present, noticing the details, trusting in God fearlessly, accepting freely and giving generously: of love, of time, of experiences, of legacy. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
Rite of Christian Burial Mass will be held 12 p.m. TUESDAY May 18, 2021 at Saint Hilary Church, 2750 W. Market Street, Fairlawn, OH 44333. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Inurnment 10:15 a.m. WEDNESDAY May 19 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, P.O. Box 414238, Boston, MA 02241-4238. Dee lived with courage, dignity, grace, and passion as she battled this disease for 14 years.
