He was born in Canton, Ohio and lived most of his life in the Akron/Stow area. Don was employed by O'Neil's Department Store and was a sales rep for the Levi Strauss, Co. He was a member of Brunswick U.M.C. and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Edelia Breed; and brother, David. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bonnie Jean; daughter, Karen Charlie Watterson; son, Don Debbie Breed, Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer Ayler Balsat, Ashley Breed, Michael Breed, Alyson Robinson, Jim Watterson, Rob Elaine Watterson, and Ron Becky Watterson; great-grandson, Justin Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 1 p.m. SATURDAY TODAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. with Rev. Dr. Donard M. Engle officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors by VFW Post 7971 and American Legion Post 473. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Western Reserve Masonic Community, 4931 Nettleton Rd., Medina, OH 44256.
