Donald L Bailey

Donald L. Bailey, 84, passed away October 29, 2013.

Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, he had lived most recently in the Akron area. A retired tech-sergeant with the U.S. Air Force, having served in Korea and Vietnam, he also retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. He was a member of the Northwest Avenue Church.

Preceded in death by his wife, Sarah; he is survived by his wife JoAnn; daughters, Brenda (Tom) Sargent and Cyndi (Chris) Carson; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 11 a.m. MONDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. Private inurnment with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home SUNDAY from 2-4 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Monday.
