Donald J. " Donny" Brown

Donald J. "Donny" Brown, age 55, passed away suddenly on July 25, 2016.
Born in Akron, Donny lived his entire life in the Akron area, most recently in Cuyahoga Falls. A 1978 Firestone graduate, Donny was a talented athlete and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavs his entire adult life. Donny was a self-employed landscaper who cared deeply for the many repeat customers he had throughout the years. Donny had an incredible love and compassion for animals. He rescued and cared for numerous dogs, cats and a rabbit or two, most recently his beloved dog, "Bailey".
Preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Brown; he leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Ida M. Brown; sister, Kimberly Ann Brown; brother, Scott Alan Brown (Dolly); nephew, Kirk S. Brown; nieces, Kelsey Anne Brown and Courtney Marie and Maria Elizabeth Brown; he also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, dear neighbors and many friends.
Per Donny's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date. A memorial contribution may be made to PAWSibilities Humane Society of Greater Akron. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
