Donald R. Draper

Donald R. Draper, 90, died November 9, 2016 .

Born March 1, 1926 in Akron to William Marvin and Dorothy Elizabeth Sprague Draper, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. A 32nd Degree Mason belonging to Cuyahoga Falls Lodge #735 F&AM, Don loved his car, traveling and was an avid golfer. He had been a member of St. John's Episcopal Church since 1955 and had retired from Montgomery Ward, working as customer service and operating manager.

Preceded in death by his brother, Marvin and sisters-in-law, Juanita Thomas and Jennie Valentine; he is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gloria; nieces and nephews, Sylvia (Steve) Slifko, James (Linda) Thomas, Denise Gunnerson, Jeff Draper, Diane (Gary) Parmelee, Janice (Don) Parmelee, Joan Hauser, Deanna Nicolini, Barbara (Mark) MacGregor and Earl (Vicky) Jones; brother-in-law, Earl "Buzz" Valentine.

Services will be held 10 a.m. MONDAY, November 14th at St. John's Episcopal Church with Rev. Christopher Zeke Coughlin officiating. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St, 4 to 6 p.m. SUNDAY where Cuyahoga Falls Lodge #735 F&AM will conduct services at 5:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 2220 2nd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
