Donald L. Hafliger, 88, passed away peacefully at home on November 18, 2011.
Born in Taylorville, Ill., he lived most of his live in Northeast Ohio. After college he worked at Peabody Coal Company and retired from B.F. Goodrich and later worked for a number of years at Century Products. He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by his wife, Valadene; sisters, Ramona Foil and Myrna Raboin; survived by daughters, Dennene David Barnette, Deborah John Powell; grandchildren, David Barnette, Amanda Kackley, Sarah Powell.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 26th at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd. St., Cuyahoga Falls with Rev. Mark Steiner officiating. Burial at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany United Church of Christ.
