Donald P. Holloway, 81, born Feb. 18, 1929, died March 7, 2009 in Hospice.
A lifelong resident of Akron, he had master of library science and juris doctor degrees. He worked for several years in reference at the Akron Public Library. He had a keen interest in music, art and genealogy. He was a member of the Society of Architectural Historians.
He is survived by two sisters, Joanne of Frankfort, Mich. and Dorothy Westhafer of Grand Island, NY. He was the son of Dorothy Ryder and Harold S. Holloway.
The Rev. Mark J. Pruitt officiated at the private graveside service in Rose Hill Burial Park, March 14, 2009.
