Donald R. Oneacre, 81, passed away November 24, 2009 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident. A graduate of South High School and the University of Akron where he was a basketball star, he was a member of Phi Delta Theta and had earned his master's degree at Kent State University. Don was an educator for over forty years at Coventry High School.
Preceded in death by his beloved son, Brian; grandson, Jeffrey Perrone; and sister, Maxine Chapman; he is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Glenda; beloved children, Chris John Dickinson, David Sally, Doug, Dona Ralph Keeton, Cathy Rick Whitman, Tim, Michael Judy; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; also survived by brother, Leland Oneacre.
Services will be held 1:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home FRIDAY, 3 to 6 p.m.
