Donald Charles Voth
Donald Charles Voth passed at the age of 81 on February 25, 2009.
He was born August 25, 1927 in Akron, Ohio. He was our champion - shooting marbles at King School, then golf anywhere, anytime!! In 1963 Don won a medal at the prestigious Western Amateur Championship.
He attended Culver Military Academy and Valparaiso University. He served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He was a sales executive at Electromelt, a division of Akron Standard Mold. He loved music of all kinds, especially jazz.
Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Vera Voth; brother, Howard Voth and daughter, Elizabeth Bartch; he is survived by his daughters, Sally Voth of Fort Myers, Fla. and Susan Voth of Toledo, Ohio; his granddaughter, Jennifer Bartch of Denver, Colo.; his sister, Ann McGee of Akron; his sister-in-law, Evelyn Voth of Akron; and many nieces and nephews.

Private graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made in Don's name to the Denny Shute Caddy Scholarship Foundation, c/o Portage Country Club, 240 N. Portage Path, Akron, OH 44303 or the charity of your choice. Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel.
