Donna Nicol Faix passed away on April 13, 2010.
Donna was born in Salem, Ohio on February 17, 1931 to Hazel and Louie Getz. Donna was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls for over fifty years where she sang in the Chancel choir, shared her voice as a soloist, and lived her faith through the Stephen's Ministry. Donna was also a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter AU and a monthly bridge-lunch group.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husbands, William Nicol and David Faix; daughter-in-law, Susan Nicol; brother-in-law, Robert Nicol; and grandson, William Nicol Worthington. She is survived by her children, Tom Vicki Nicol and Robin Doug Worthington; grandchildren, Brian Mandy Nicol, Kristin Jason Walker, Rebecca and Andrew Worthington; great-granddaughter, Daphne Nicol; sister, Ina David Williams; sisters-in-law, Pat Vargo and Barbara Nicol; many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of The Briarwood, Kent Health Care, and Harbor Light Hospice for their love and care of Donna.
A celebration of Donna's life will take place on Saturday, April 17th at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. In lieu of other remembrances, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church. Billow FALLS Chapel
