Doreen E. Oates, 90, passed away May 31, 2009.
Doreen worked in retail for 30+ years and was a member of Summit Christian Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Thomas, she is survived by daughter, Mary Coffee; grandchildren, Tom Sharon Coffee, Jim Robin Coffee, Kathy Lloyd Kiss, Lisa Hafer; great-grandchildren, Kevin and Meghan Coffee, John and Mark McGrath, Kimmy, Tommy and Courtney Naper, Jon and Brooke Hafer, Ashley Coffee, Tyler and Nicolle Kiss; eight great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Lee Richards of Florida.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to Copley Health for their wonderful care.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, with Rev.'s Mike Martin and Arthur Fields officiating. Burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Care Team at Copley Health, 155 Heritage Woods, Copley, OH 44321.
