Dorothy E. Bussell, 90, passed away August 9, 2009.
She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and had lived in Cuyahoga Falls since 1947. She graduated from Milford High School in Milford, Connecticut and from Business Night School where she learned business accounting, short hand, typing and other secretarial skills. Dorothy worked in the business community until marrying her husband, William, who preceded her in death. While raising her family, she assisted her husband acting as his secretary to help build his business. After her children finished school, she sold real estate in Cuyahoga Falls for about twenty years. Mrs. Bussell was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Shirley of San Clemente, Calif.; son, Thomas of Cuyahoga Falls and former daughter-in-law, Crystal of Mogadore; grandchildren, Cara Bussell of Portland, Oregon and David serving in Afghanistan and his wife, Evelyn; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. FRIDAY at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., THURSDAY, 6 to 8 p.m. Billow FALLS Chapel
