Dorothy E. Draper, 107, died March 27, 2010.
Born in Sydney, Ohio, she lived in Cuyahoga Falls since 1938. She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ and Eastern Star. Dorothy retired with 32 years service from the M. O'Neil Co. drapery department and volunteered for 15 years at St. Hywet Hall and Gardens doing arts and crafts for the Ohio Mart. The staff at Rockynol, were she lived for 2 ½ years, said she was the oldest and feistiest resident they had and she always had the last word.
Preceded in death by husband of 55 years, William Marvin, Sr.; son, William Marvin, Jr.; three sisters and four brothers; she is survived by son, Donald R. Gloria; grandchildren, Denise Gunnerson Dennis and Jeffrey Draper Carrie; and great-grandchildren, Brittany, Justin, Ashley, and Lee Ann.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd. St., corner of 23rd. St. and Falls Ave. with Rev. Steven G. Gehlert officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Akron/Canton Regional Foodbank, 350 Opportunity Pkwy., Akron 44307 or St. Jude Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale St., Memphis, TN 38105.
