NEW FRANKLIN -- Dorothy M. "Dottie" Welch nee Miller, 74, died January 4, 2009.
Born in Hartville, she was a long time resident of the Akron-Portage Lakes areas. A former member of the Riviera Yacht Club, she had retired from Shaffer's Market.
Preceded in death by husbands, Robert Sherman and Lee Amodio; parents, Henry and Martha Miller and sister, Annie Bitting; Dottie is survived by her husband, Carl; children, Dennis Amodio, Tony Amodio Jennie, Reynold Amodio Dawn, Julia Six, Lonnie Welch Mary, Timothy Welch Silvia; grandchildren, Teena Marie Six, Nikki R. Fink, Brook L. Six, Lee Amodio, Cathy Gorrell, Toni Amodio, Sarah, Kristin, Josh and Matthew Welch; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ballard, Ruby Wagoner; brothers, Wayne Miller Vera, Bill Miller; and sister, Bernice Miller.
Services will be held 1 p.m. FRIDAY at the Billow LAKES Chapel, 472 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., with Pastor Jack Pancher officiating. Private interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home FRIDAY two hours prior to the service.
