Douglas M. Stanley

Our family is now missing a link. Douglas M. Stanley, a husband, son, brother and friend we're very proud of, passed away on Friday, March 2, after a short illness.

Born in Akron in July of 1961, Doug was a carpenter employed by Downing Enterprises for over twenty-five years.

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-eight years, Lori; parents, Vaught and Glenna Stanley; sister, Christine Stanley Brown (Mike); niece, Stephanie; father-in-law, Stanley Weiland; brothers-in-law, Greg Weiland (Becky), Gary Weiland; sister-in-law, Michelle Weiland Pedro (Matt); numerous loving nieces and nephews; and friends as close as any family could be.

Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Thursday from 4 p.m. until the service to celebrate Doug's life takes place at 7 p.m., with Rev. Mike Brown officiating.
