Earl Tipton Minick

“Stay Noble” - After a courageous battle with cancer, Earl passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 86. Earl retired from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and Shell Chemical after 34 years. He was a former vice president of the Akron Junior Chamber of Commerce, member of the American Legion Lee-Bishop Post 464, and a 62-year member of Coventry-Akron Lodge #83 F.& A.M. He also served proudly in the Army and Army Reserves for 8 years. Earl deeply loved his family and his country.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Minick, brother, Billy; and brother-in-law, Donald Wood. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Linda; daughter, Diana (Tim) Bullock, son, Daniel (Marci) Minick; grandchildren, Allison (Mark) Pfeifer, Noah (Zoe) Bullock, Christian (Emma) Bullock, Luke, Gabbi and Zander Minick; great-granddaughters, Ophelia and soon-to-be born Holland Pfeifer; sister, Ruth Wood; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard Williams and Shelley Gutstein, and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Summa Hospice for their help and care, especially Susan, Tracy, Amy, Shakee, and Pastor Rick Pounds.

Calling hours will be TUESDAY July 5th from 5-7 P.M. at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd Street Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, with Masonic Service at 7 P.M. Private interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, 4724 State Rd. Peninsula, OH 44264, with Pastor Rick Pounds officiating.
