Earl Terwilliger, 96 died peacefully in his sleep, Wednesday, August 17th.
Born February 2, 1920 in Kenmore Ohio to Claude and Neva (Hart) Terwilliger. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Emma.
Earl served his country proudly as sergeant in the Army Air Corps in World War II both in the Atlantic and Pacific regions. Earl will always be remembered for his honesty, straight talk and willingness to help everyone.
He worked at Universal Body Shop and later as president of the Appraisal Company.
He had a passion about his family, work and his country.
He enjoyed his woodworking, fishing and biking with his grandchildren.
Earl was a model father, grandfather and husband and will always be remembered for his mild manner, square logic, silent passion generosity and fairness.
He is survived by great memories with the ones he loved and knew; his daughter Julie (Dimitri); his son Earl (Bonnie); and his six grandchildren Byron (Darya), John (Elisavet), Alexandros, Alaina, Gwen and Sammy.
Earl's family would like to make a special thanks to the staff of Senior Independence, especially to April and Ed.
Private memorial services for family and friends will be held at Billow's Funeral Home.
