Edward C. Sawyer, Jr.
Ed Sawyer, 86, loving husband and father, died peacefully May 9, 2009 at the Ridgewood Road Hospice Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 19 at St. Paul's Episcopal Chapel corner of Kenilworth and W. Market St., with Rev. Mark J. Pruitt officiating. Inurnment will immediately follow at the Memorial Garden at St. Paul's, where military rites will be conducted by the U.S. Air Force. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron 44333 or to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, 1645 W. 8th St., Erie, PA 16505.
