Eleanor Jane Arnold, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis LeMoine Arnold and her parents, Grace and Frederick C. Pockrandt. She is survived by her brother, Frederick G. Pockrandt; nephew, Frederick E. Pockrandt and his wife Peg; nieces, Sister James Theresa, Nancy Tabita and her husband Denny and Marianne Heard. Jane leaves numerous great-, great-great-, and great-great-great-nieces and nephews who will miss her cheerful smile and caring ways.

After college Jane began work as an accountant with the Loyd Oliver Auto Dealership and then after her husband died she worked in the accounting department of the Mogadore Country Club. She was a life time member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in both the Girl Scouts and the Stan Hywet Foundation. Jane will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Calling hours will be Sunday, November 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Billow Chapel, 1907 23rd St. in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223, and funeral services will be at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 50 N. Prospect St., Akron, Ohio, Monday, November 10, at 10 a.m., with Rev. David L. Scharf officiating. Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park.
