Eleanor M. Human ``Elly', 89, died Oct. 8, 2010.
Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in the area, retiring to Florida from 1985 until 2009. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sebring, Florida and retired from Barberton Citizens Hospital.
Preceded in death by husband, Thomas A. and son, Thomas E.; she is survived by daughter, Cheryl John Schlosser; grandsons, Jeff Kathy, David Jessica, Jason Brigitte and Justin Olivia; four great-grandchildren; and dear friends, Harold and Mary Ann Russell.
Special thanks to the staff at The Merriman for the wonderful, loving care given to Elly the past Year.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Dr. Richard O. Griffith officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour before services. Private inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, P.O. Box 2090, Akron 44398.
