Eleanor M. Kechkes

Eleanor M. Kechkes, age 92, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 12, 2024.

She was born in Cuyahoga Falls, to John and Alma Loewing. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph Parish Church and proudly served on the St. Joseph Altar Society. Eleanor enjoyed reading recipes and cookbooks and she loved sending recipes in the mail to those she loved. She was very caring and will be missed dearly.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; and her brother John Loewing.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Anthony) Cujas; son, Todd Kechkes; grandchildren, Ashly (Ricky) Carroll and Anthony Cujas Jr.; sisters, Johanna Fetterman and Marie (Shawn) Pak; sisters-in-law, Lynn Loewing and Wilma (Bill) Stopar; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will take place 2:00 PM FRIDAY, December 20, 2024, at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Friends may call from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Entombment immediately following at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron.
