Elizabeth B. Myers, 91, died April 19, 2013.
Born in Newcomerstown, she lived most of her life in Akron. A graduate of Denison University, she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and this is where she met her husband, James A. Myers. She was a member of Church of Our Saviour, Portage Country Club, past president of the Junior League of Akron and the Akron Garden Club, and was a volunteer at Akron General Medical Center. She loved bridge, gardening, needlepoint, golf and cooking.
Preceded in death by husband, James A. and daughter, Ann Miller, she is survived by children, James, Jane (Thomas) Rozuk, John and George; grandchildren, James H. (Mara), John M. and Regen Myers, Ashley (Erik) Szyluk, Kyle (Michelle), Brode and Tom Rozuk, Emmy and John-Thomas Myers; great-grandchildren, James W. and Kateri Myers, and Annie, Erik Jr. and Lucy Mae Szyluk; and sister-in-law, Ruth Jane Grimwood.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Church of Our Saviour, with Rev. Debra Q. Bennett officiating. Inurnment at Rose Hill Burial Park. There are no calling hours.
