Elizabeth (Lib) Jane Crosier Lyman

Elizabeth (Lib) Jane Crosier Lyman (nee James) of Ghent, Ohio, born June 5, 1924, died July 30, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore H. James and Nell Alexander James; husbands Richard F. Crosier and Almon D. Lyman; son, James R. Crosier; and cats, Pretty Kitty, Kiki and Syman Lyman.

Survived by stepson Dr. David M. Lyman (Chris Alexander), Las Cruces, N.M.; step grandson Anthony Bachmann; and friends, Carole and Skip Lintner, Judy Harrison, and Howard Lawson, Jamie Gellner, Lisa and Tim Mier, Pam and Mike Egan, Julie, her devoted mail carrier, and her wonderful cat, Cookie.

She retired from the Summit County Board of Education where she was employed as the Financial Secretary. Lib was a boater for many years and an avid reader. Other interests included Cleveland Indians and her love of cats, flowers, and nature.

Special thank you to Summa Hospice, nurse Christina, aides Laura and Jennifer, RMT Justin and Timberland Ridge nursing home for all the excellent care in her last days.

Cremation has taken place. No ceremony.
