Ellen Sears-Bohon, 87, passed away February 6, 2013.
Cuyahoga Falls residents may remember seeing her on one of her daily walks along State Road for over 30 years.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Dr. William and Lulu Lose. Ellen was a lifelong member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the Choir and remained active in a number of ministries for over 60 years. She retired as an employee of the City of Cuyahoga Falls.
Ellen was preceded in death by husbands, Charles P. Sears and Lyle W. Bohon. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Mason, Cynthia (Jack) Thompson, Chris (Anita) Sears; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two more on the way.
Friends may call at the Billow FALLS Chapel, TONIGHT from 6 to 8 p.m. Service will be held 10 a.m. FRIDAY at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, with Rev. Robert Linsz officiating. Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 2121 6th St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221.
