Ellynore Arthur Beck, age 99, passed away on January 24, 2016.
Bunnie, as she was called, was born May 4, 1916. She attended North High School and was a graduate of Southern Seminary College. She was a member of the Junior League of Akron and the Akron Women's City Club. Bunnie volunteered for many years at the Akron City Hospital and was an active member of First Congregational Church. She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, and flower arranging. Bunnie was an accomplished cook, baker, and an excellent hostess.
She was deeply loved by her three children, Carl F. Beck III (Judie) of Mesa, Arizona, James A. Beck (Linda) of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Becky (Peter) Miller of Manhasset, New York, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two nieces, Missie Broers and Jane McCracken.
Bunnie's family wishes to acknowledge Rockynol, Senior Independence, and Hospice for their love and devotion. A memorial service honoring Bunnie will be held in the spring.
