Enid Ann Sharpe nee Winkelman, 77, passed away August 26, 2011.
Born in Lakewood, she lived 27 years in Hudson. Enid attended The Grier School for Girls, Sweet Briar College and Western Reserve University. She was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church, Friends of Scouting, BSA and a founding member of Sumner on Ridgewood.
Preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Albert P. Sharpe III; son, James B.; parents, Harvey and Helen Winkelman; brothers, Harvey E., Dean R.; survived by sons, John S. Col. USMC Retired Diane of Powell, Ohio, Thomas E. Tracey of Westerville, OH, Richard A. Jill of Richfield, Ohio; granddaughters, Amy, Julie, Elizabeth, Suzanne; two great-grandsons.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 3rd. at 11 a.m. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron. Inurnment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta, OH. Friends may call ½ hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Great Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America, 1601 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44301 or a charity of one's choice.
