Eric Moore, 51, died January 17, 2016.
Born in Akron December 23, 1964 to Wayne and Patricia Murray Moore, Eric was a loving and caring son, brother and friend. He enjoyed traveling, music and giving. Eric volunteered for thousands of hours at Edwin Shaw Hospital and Doctor Bob's House. He was also a member of Woodland United Methodist Church and was part of their card ministry.
Preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Ethan; he is survived by his mother; siblings, Dana (Cathy) Moore and Laura Moore; longtime girlfriend, Sue Bishop; niece and nephews, Corey, Jason and Jennifer.
Services will be held 2 p.m. FRIDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Debbie Gibbons officiating. Private interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodland United Methodist Church, 444 N. Hawkins Ave., Akron, Ohio 44313 or to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, c/o Akron General Foundation, 1 Akron General Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44307-2463. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
