Eric W. Schlueter, 51, passed away April 2, 2013.
Born in Akron, he lived here all of his life. Eric was a Software Architect. He worked for many companies throughout Northeast Ohio. He loved Hummers, cars and working with people.
Preceded in death by father-in-law, Fred Selby and sister-in-law, Sandra Germano, he is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Patty; son, Andrew; daughter, Lauren; parents, Tom and Barb Schlueter; sister, Amy (Tom) Sarvis; brothers, Kevin (Cindy), Sam (Nancy); mother-in-law, Jean Selby; sisters-in-law, Susan Huth, Nancy Carson; many nieces, nephews; and his loving pet, Ginger.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Akron City Hospital for their compassion and care.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bath Rescue and Fire Dept., 3864 W. Bath Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
