E. Victor Wilson, 82, of Akron, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010.
He was born on March 26, 1927, in Noneaton, England, son of the late Bertie Wilson and Ethel Smith Wilson. He attended Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, where he received both a Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering. He worked for Exxon Mobil Corporation for more than three decades.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Wilson; daughter, Catharine Wilson Chu of Asheville, North Carolina; and six grandchildren, Emma and Allison Round of Copley, and Andy, Abby, Tim, and Silas Chu of Asheville. He was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Ann Round.
The family will receive friends 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. There are no services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to Bath Fire and Rescue, 3864 W. Bath Rd., Akron 44333.
