Ernst J. Troike, 87, died April 26, 2018.
Born in Toledo October 22, 1930 to Orral G. and Ernst J. Troike, he was a U.S. Army veteran, attended the Coast Guard Academy and graduated from Case Institute of Technology. A member of Cross Point Alliance Church, he was a wonderful Christian family man who was active and loved people. He was a structural engineer, owning his own consulting firm.
Preceded in death by his parents; he is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jean; children, Robin, John (Sharon), Skip (Denise), Paul (Kelly); grandchildren, Elise (Robert), Daniel (Lena), Katie (Adam), Stephen, Jesse, Kayla and Camden; four great grandchildren; and brother, Bob (Bette).
Friends and relatives may call on SUNDAY from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. A funeral service will take place 11 a.m. MONDAY at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Feather officiating. Burial at Moore's Chapel Cemetery. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
