Ethel Louise Vaughn

Ethel Louise Vaughn, 90, passed away March 26, 2009.

She was born in East Liverpool on June 3, 1918 to Frank and Pearl Haynes. In earlier years, Ethel worked at West Point Market and helped her husband, Paul at his grocery store on North Hill at Temple Square.

She was a past member of Zonta Club, Akron Art Museum, Cuyahoga Falls Valley Art Museum, Stan Hywet Garden Club, Northampton Garden Club and Sewing Club. She won many awards as a flower arranger and sewing class prizes. Ethel loved gardening, flowers, sewing and traveling. She fought a valiant battle with cancer in recent years.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Paul; and will be greatly missed. She is also survived by her brother, Harold; sisters, Helen and Wilma.

Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls with Rev. Michael Shaub officiating. Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
