Eugenia Parabutsky, 77, went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Barberton, Ohio and was a graduate of Hower High School in Akron. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1959 and attended Phoenix College, where she earned her R.N. degree. Soon after, Eugenia attended Arizona State University, earning both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education. She was employed by the Murphy School District and retired after 20 years of teaching.
Eugenia was preceded in death by her parents, Sophia and Louis; siblings, Michael, George, Dorothy, Naomi, Violet, Mildred and Marian. She is survived by her sister, Pauline Parabutsky of Phoenix, Arizona and many loving nieces and nephews across the country.
Services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron with David Kapusinski officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call 5 to 7 pm, Friday at the funeral home.
