Eva Salem, 49, passed away September 10, 2008.
Born in Akron, she has inspired many with her energy and love for life. Eva attended St. Vincent Catholic Church, Bath United Church of Christ and Our Lady of the Cedars Maronite Catholic Church. Eva's main passion was for her family and children. She was proud of her volunteering and one of her most recent accomplishments was the 100 mile bike ride for the Leukemia Society at Lake Tahoe with the members of the Bath Church. Her family would like to thank everyone for their support and kindness for "Eva the Diva."
Preceded in death by her parents, George and Mona Owen, she was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family and children, Dr. Anthony Salem, Jennifer, Anthony, Phillip and Julia; grandson, L.A. "Little Anthony"; sisters, Patricia Michael Bolton, Lisa Owen, Gloria Owen, Joanie Damian Ludwiczak; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 A.M. SATURDAY at St. Vincent Catholic Church, 164 W. Market St. Committal service at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., FRIDAY 3 TO 8 P.M. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406.
