Florence Ferriot Stiegele, 87, passed away February 29, 2012 after a courageous eight month battle with pancreatic cancer. Cremation has taken place.
She was a loving homemaker who wanted only and always to be a good mother and wife.
She was preceded in death by her dear husbands, Walter Stiegele, Sam Swietzer, Wayne Jackson and Gordon (Ruby) Keeler; mother and father, Dorothy and Gene Ferriot. She is survived by sons, Gordon (Brenda) Keeler and Fred (Sharon) Keeler; four grandchildren, Ben and Jordan Keeler, Lisa (Kevin) Boron, Chip (Maria) Keeler; and five great-grandchildren, Marc and Spencer Keeler, and Kyle, Katie and Karlie Boron. She is also survived by sister, Jean Shaffer.
A special thanks to Florence's caregiver, Donna Dalrymple and the Hospice Care Center on Ridgewood Road.
Calling hours and a memorial service will take place in the Manor House at Sumner on Ridgewood this Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The service at 1 p.m. will be conducted by Reverend David Loar of Fairlawn West United Church of Christ. A luncheon will follow the service. Christian Burial will be held at a later date in Bristol, Tenn.
In lieu of flowers, contributions maybe made to Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd, Akron, OH 44333 in memory of Florence.
