Frank J. Martin Jr., 59, of Ravenna, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, December 13, 2014.
He was born October 7, 1955 in Brunswick, Ohio. He worked as a licensed commercial truck driver where his passion for the open road and heavy machinery united. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving father and dedicated grandfather.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Natalie (George) Crawford; grandchildren, Alice and Michael Crawford of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Dale Martin of Brunswick; sister, Rose (Earl) Tilden of Georgia; and nephew Ryan Dorsey of Washington D.C. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Wonema Martin Sr.; and brothers, George Dorsey and Bill Dorsey.
Frank will be deeply missed.
Mass of the Christian Burial will take place 11 a.m. FRIDAY at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trial, Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Fr. James Singler celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to The American Heart Association, 15120 Collections Center Dr. (15120=Lbx#), Chicago, IL 60693. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
