Frederick G Martin

March 19, 1943 — January 2, 2017

Frederick G. Martin Jr., age 73, passed away early in the morning on January 2nd, 2017.
Frederick was a man of many talents, a legend in a sense. From childhood on he had a love for the outdoors, he loved being in the woods watching and listening to the wildlife. Frederick's adventurous side led him during his late teenage years to travel across the United States, from Dayton, Ohio to Seattle, Washington on a ten speed bicycle. He took dangerous routes, followed narrow passages and climbed trees in efforts to capture perfect pictures. Frederick also had a passion for being part of the NMLRA, where he would succeed in winning 9 world championships, for a total of 14 gold, 9 silver and 5 bronze medals with a muzzle loading rifle. Frederick then decided to follow his dreams and become a teacher, spending his years teaching the class he created, Animal Behavior, and Biology at Cuyahoga Falls High School.
Preceded in death by his parents, Frederick G. Martin Sr. and Elizabeth S. (Belden) Martin and sisters, Jennifer Belden Martin Berg and Elizabeth Martin; Frederick is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Roberta, his two sons, William and Daniel and many cousins and friends he has impacted throughout his life.
