Frederick A. ``Fritz' Smead, 85, passed away Sunday, July10, 2011.
Frederick Anthony Smead was born January 27, 1926 and was a lifelong resident of the Akron area. Fritz left high school at age 17 to join the U.S. Navy, where he proudly served his country. When Fritz returned home he worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.
