Fredericka (Fritzie) Mae Lindquist, 83, passed away January 14, 2014.
Born in Versailles, Ohio and a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor's in Home Economics and a Master of Arts in Home Economics from Kent State University, she lived most of her life in the Akron area, retiring from the Dairy and Nutrition Council. A member of Daughters of the American Revolution, she was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Henry Peschke; her husband of nearly 60 years, Glen; and daughter-in-law, Jacquie. A wonderfully loving wife, mother, and grammie, she will be deeply missed by daughter, Alexa Sandmann; sons, Martin and Fred (Laura) Lindquist; grandchildren, Kira and Kevin Sandmann, Rachel Rieder, Olivia (Tyler) Bates, Spencer and Gracie Lindquist; and great-granddaughter, Hope Morris.
A memorial service will take place 11 a.m. SATURDAY, January 18th, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with long-time friend Bishop Emeritus Kenneth H. Sauer and Rev. David Nevergall officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles, Ohio. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N.
