Gary Glenn Carr

Gary Glenn Carr , age 80, of Richfield, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, February 20, 2023.

He was born June 26, 1942 in Akron, OH to Charles Nolan and Minnie Myrl Bennett Carr.

Gary was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He retired from LTV Steel in Cleveland, OH after 32 faithful years of service.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda (nee Malicki); cherished children, Carol (Wade) Brunner of Norton, OH, Glen (Lina) Workman of North Royalton, OH, Gary (Sarena) Carr of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Tim Carr of Chicago, IL, and Missy (Mark) Nuernberger of West Falls, NY; 16 beloved grandchildren, and four treasured great grandchildren; dearest sisters, Linda Cain of Canton, OH and Alice (Roger) Stull of Pickerington, OH; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kim Mercer; sons, James and Larry Evans; sisters, Cora Perkins, Virginia Templeton, Ruth Fowler, and Joanne Carr; brothers, William, Wilbert, Robert, Donald and Arthur Carr.

Funeral service will take place on FRIDAY, February 24, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment immediately following in West Richfield Cemetery with military honors.
