Gary H McKisson

Gary McKisson died January 16, 2025. Born October 28, 1945, to Howard and Elsie McKisson, he was raised in Bath, Ohio, and was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for over 50 years. He graduated from Revere High School and attended Kent State University. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and cousins Janet Schwager (Paul), Dave McKisson (Eileen), Jim McKisson (Karen), Cindy Riedel (George), and Sue Spirko (Vince).

Gary was a Navy veteran and served three tours of duty on the USS Oriskany during Vietnam. Before retirement, he ran a printing press. He also built mini-sprinters and met many young drivers who later graduated to Nascar. He was a race car photographer on the weekends at Wayne County Speedway for many years.

Gary loved animals including his cat, Milo. He also loved to travel and, as a gambler, never met a casino he didn’t like. Gary was also a proud member of Elks 1923.

Funeral services will be held in the spring along with a Celebration of Life.
