Gene C. Smith

Gene C. Smith, 85, of Copley, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2012.

Gene was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt.

Preceded in death by his parents, Loti and Elizabeth Smith; brothers, Bobby and Lindsey. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Helen Smith; three sons, Lee, Mark, Charlie; 9 stepchildren, Fred, Coletta, Becky, Debbie, John, Pat, Richard, David, Maria Barry; 32 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

Graveside service at Copley Township Cemetery on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 12 pm noon where military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army, Copley VFW Post 7971 and the American Legion Post 473.
