Gene Richard Taylor

Gene Richard Taylor, age 90, of Akron, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 31, 2021.

He was born April 20, 1931 in Akron, son of the late George and Esther (nee Stephens) Taylor.

Gene was a proud man of faith and a member of First Grace United Church of Christ. He was the President of Taylor Pontiac Co. and retired in 2000. Gene was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Kiwanis for 25 years and a board member and past president of the Visiting Nurse Association. Gene will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Gene is survived by his sisters, Patricia Taylor, and Gwendolyn (Richard) Bennett; two nieces, and one nephew.

A private entombment has taken place at Rose Hill Burial Park, Fairlawn, OH.
