Georgia Tressel Ott, 93 died Saturday, October 25, 2008.
Georgia was a homemaker who adored her family. She was a steadfast friend to many people, a devoted volunteer at Akron General Hospital for over 40 years, a member of the Stan Hywet Women's board, and the Women's City Club. She loved traveling, socializing, bridge, stage plays and cats.
She is survived by her daughters, Sally Thomas Taylor of Bath, Brenda Mrs. Carl Graves of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota; grandchildren, Theresa Ted Erickson and Rick Lakes, both of Brainerd, Minnesota, Bradley Stoller of Bath, Christopher Karen Stoller of Akron; 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, AlbertBud Ott.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Village at St. Edward and Hospice of Visiting Nurse Association for their sensitive care of our mother.
A memorial service will be held 2:oo pm Saturday, November 1st at the Village at St. Edward, Fountain Entrance in Fairlawn. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Private Burial will be at Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Bath at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, you may honor her with a contribution to the Alzheimer's Association or the Humane Society if you so desire.
