Geraldine "Jerry" Maple

Geraldine (Jerry) Maple, 89, passed from this life September 25, 2016.
She was born to Ralph and Edith Christy on August 9,1927 in Akron, Ohio where she spent most of her life.
Jerry worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company before leaving to have her daughter, Cherie. She later received her Cosmetologist license and worked and later managed Cinderella Beauty Shop. Later with her husband, Bill, she managed Mutual Mini Storage Units and then the Guardian Storage facility. When retiring she enjoyed staying home and reading her many books.
Jerry was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Maple, Jr. and her sister Eileen Christy; She is survived by her daughter Cherie (Thomas) Boveington; grandson, Bryan (Shanna) Boveington; great-grandson Sean Boveington; and great-granddaughter Kayla Cash.
Calling hours will be held at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., on Wednesday, September 28th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
