Gertrude Snedden

November 29, 1921 — November 5, 2015

Gertrude M. (Crocker) Snedden
On a perfect November day, there was a celebration in heaven as Gertrude Snedden went to be with God and her family, husband David: sons, Laird and David; daughter, Lisa Snedden; parents, William and Jane Crocker; sisters, Jane Senuta, Martha Morgan, and Barbara Crocker; brother, William Crocker; and best friend, Hanna Geiger.
Gertrude's faith, love of all God's creatures, commitment to family, wisdom and encouragement will carry on in the hearts of daughter, Martha Miller; daughter-in-law, Robin Snedden; grandchildren, Rochelle Slavinski, Erin Mort, Nicole Seuffert, Devon Snedden, Nathan Snedden, Lindsay Crow, Daniel Baker, and great-grandchildren, Brook-Lynne, Dominique, Ryan, David, Genevieve, Liam, along with her nieces and nephews, Prudence Tucker, William Crocker, Joel Monroe, Barbara Crocker, Connie Jo Morgan, and Thomas Morgan.
Being a florist for many years, Gertrude enjoyed all things in nature. She also loved the outdoors, camping, gardening, and sitting on her beloved back porch watching the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks.
Gert enjoyed living in her Cuyahoga Falls home for nearly 60 years. She cherished her Ninth Street neighbors, whose help allowed her to stay in her home for so long.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. (corner of 23rd St. and Falls Ave.) Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday 5-8 p.m. (Billow FALLS Chapel)
