Glen V. Hart
Glen V. Hart, 88, went home to be with the Lord and his earth angel wife, Edna Gill Hart, on May 25, 2009.
Born and raised in Akron, he graduated from North High and attended Ohio State University. Glen was a lifelong salesman and enjoyed traveling. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a very active member of the American Legion Post 209. He accepted Christ as his Savior later in life after living the first part as a "little dickens." Glen enjoyed golfing, boating, snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle. His favorite golf course was Paradise Lake Golf Course but now he has moved on to greener fairways.
Preceded in death by his wife, Edna, he is survived by son, Jeffrey; daughters, Sandi and Debra Hart; sister, Loretta Wallace. A special thank you to his caregiver, Freda McCune.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 W. Market St., Akron 44333, with Rev. Eloy Pacheco officiating.
