Glenn E. Chevrier

Glenn E. Chevrier, Jr. died on Jan 23, 2013 at the age of 85.

Glenn graduated from Buchtel High School in 1945 and served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He was a successful salesman for Siemens for many years and went on to own his own business. Glenn was an active member of Ducks Unlimited, Cuyahoga Falls Rotary, Commander of the Power Squadron and a member of the Church of Our Saviour Episcopal Church where he sang in the choir as a youth. He was a 32° Mason and a member of Coventry-Akron Lodge #83 F&AM.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn, Sr. and Mae and beloved sister, Jane Lemley. He is survived by his brothers, Jim (Inge) and William (Patricia), Frances Alkire; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan 27 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
