Glenn Jay Haught, 86, died December 7, 2012 after a brief illness.
He was born in Uniontown, Pa., lived for most of his adult life in Cuyahoga Falls and graduated in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He lived at Laurel Lake in Hudson, Ohio for the last three years of his life.
Mr. Haught was preceded in death by his loving wife, Emma Jane. He is survived by daughters, Dr. Karen Haught (Randy Johnson) of Visalia, Calif., Christine Haught (Alan Saleski) of Evanston, Ill., Lisa Leiden (Russ) of Dellroy, Ohio; sons, Thomas Haught (Amy) of Akron, Ohio, John Haught of Cherry Hill, N.J.; 10 grandchildren, Natasha, Kyle, Zach, Molly, Tatyana, Harlan, Emma, Doug, Spencer, and Maxwell; one great-grandchild, Jay; and one sister, Donna Wolfe.
Service will be held 10 a.m. MONDAY, 12/10/12 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road, with Rev. Adam Marquette officiating. Private interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park, where Firestone VFW Post 3383 will conduct military honors. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 5 p.m. on SUNDAY, 12/9/12.
