Glenn A Leiter

Glenn A. Leiter, 94, died Dec. 8, 2012.

An Army Air Force veteran, he served in World War II as a paratrooper in Europe and North Africa and received two Bronze Stars. He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, a 32 Degree Mason, a 60+ year member of Star Lodge, a member of Tadmor Shrine and was the long time owner with his father and brother of Leiter and Sons Hardware.

Preceded in death by wife, Evelyn and brother, Clarence, he is survived by wife, Peg; children, Dan (Jan) Leiter and Claudia (Stan) Stephan; grandchildren, Julie (Curt) Double, Dan (Kristi) Leiter and Michael and Sarah Stephan; great-grandchildren, Alec Leiter, Haley Burg, and Bethany, Russell and Lindsay Double.

The family will receive friends in the lounge at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethany United Church of Christ, with Rev. Steven Gehlert officiating. Private inurnment at Rose Hill Burial Park. There are no calling hours.
