Grace Evelyn Antczak (nee Loeding) age 94, went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2021. Beloved mother of Ginny Blount (Vic), Jim Antczak (Ava), Tracy Antczak (Sue) and Roy Antczak (Shelia); grandmother to Jeremy, Jessica (Mark), George (Kristin), Brian, Justin (Arianna), Jordon, and Ryan; great grandmother to Keylee, Colton, Asher and Henry. She is also survived by brothers, Lyle (Gloria) and Burt (Karen) and sister-in-law, Janice. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Carl Antczak; sisters, Dolores, Virginia, and Bea (Roland); brother, Les; and son, Daniel.
Grace was born to Elmer and Henrietta Loeding on Jan 26, 1927 in Ocala, Florida. She moved to Wisconsin where she graduated high school and went on to attend Northwestern Bible College. Grace married Carl Antczak in 1954 and they moved to Bath, Ohio in 1966. They enjoyed 56 years of wedded bliss until his death in 2010.
Grace was employed as a bookkeeper at Berean Christian Bookstore for 16 years, raised 5 children, and managed their home as well. She was very active in church, teaching Sunday school, singing in the choir and participating in Bible study groups. They made an epic trip to the Holy Land and loved to travel in their RV. She loved gardening and grew the most beautiful roses. She took particular joy in bird watching, and all of God’s creatures made her smile.
The family will receive guests at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. on Saturday, August 21st from 1-2:30 p.m. with a service immediately following. The service will be live streamed on the Billow Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BillowFuneralHomes/ . Due to pandemic concerns the family requests wearing masks to attend. Grace will be laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio in a private ceremony on Monday, August 23rd. May she rest in peace.
